A Full Day of Training Opportunities with Dr. Rajani at The Aesthetic Show

advanced injectibles, long term fillers, voluma, artefill, sculptra
For the first day of THE Aesthetic Show conference at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, Dr. Anil Rajani, M.D. both taught and moderated a full day of intensive, hands-on injection technique training. As more patients opt for the minimally invasive age-fighting therapies offered by neuromodulators and dermal fillers over surgery, thorough knowledge of how best to administer these products is a must for any aesthetic practitioner. Dr. Rajani is a sought-after speaker due to his expertise with the micro-cannula method for filler injections, in which a slender, blunt-tipped needle is used through a single perforation in the skin. This technique both minimizes discomfort to the patient and reduces the risk of bruising.  (The doctor is also slated for a live demonstration at the DermaSculpt booth on THE Aesthetic Show exhibit floor on Saturday, July 13 at 3:15 P.M.)

“I was honored to be among such a prestigious group of aesthetic doctors,” Dr. Rajani says. “THE Aesthetic Show is truly unique in bringing together so many renowned experts in so many different fields. It’s estimated that Americans are currently spending $1.9 billion at medical spas, and that figure is expected to increase to $3.6 billion by 2016. So it is important for those of us in the field to remain at the top of our game. This conference is an important part of that continued learning.”

Dr. Rajani’s co-presenters were an elite group of colleagues including leading Las Vegas-area plastic surgeon Dr. Edward M. Zimmerman, M.D., who received the Award for Excellence in Academic Education from the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 2005 and has served as president of the American Board of Laser Surgery since 2007; Wm. Philip Werschler, M.D., an internationally renowned dermatologist and founder of Spokane Dermatology Clinic and Werschler Aesthetics;  Yale-trained facial cosmetic surgeon Dr. Alexander Z. Rivkin, M.D. (whom you may have seen on The Doctors, the Today Show, or other television programs); and Dr. Shino Bay Aquilera, M.D., a cosmetic laser expert and the country’s leading Sculptra® injector,  among many others.

Dr. Rajani has a private training facility in the beautiful Pearl District of Portland, OR, where he invites doctors from around the world to come for further, customized training on the latest techniques and most innovative products in the aesthetic industry.
