Botched? Or Not?

We live in the age and society of instant satisfaction. If we decide we want it, we want it now, and we want it perfect. Would you ask Da Vinci to produce the perfect painting in one sitting? No, so how can we expect such perfection from a Doctor? Injecting is an art form and as such getting the “perfect” look takes time and patients. Just a couple years ago patients were asked to come back every two weeks for a follow up so the Doctor could see their “work” and continue working towards the patients and Doctors goals. Now, patients want to come in for one visit and leave with their idea of “perfect”. Offices often receive calls from patients wanting something “corrected” from another doctor. However, if the patient is given a realistic goal about time and expectations, offices will see more satisfied patients are receive less calls from unhappy patients.
