What is PlasmaSculpt® and how does it work?

PlasmaSculpt® Facial Rejuvenation is Dr Rajani’s signature procedure with a unique combination of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) and Sculptra. These two collagen stimulators are combined into one procedure and applied to targeted regions of the face through fine needles and cannulas.  The treatment stimulates collagen and elastin, as well as your body’s natural support structure to reconstruct more youthful looking skin and volume. Dr. Rajani uses different concentrations PlasmaSculpt® on different areas of the face, depending upon your specific needs, achieving exceptional, personalized results for each of his patients.

What is PRF and why combine PRF with Sculptra?

PRF is a natural product created from your own body’s blood. When injected into specific areas of the skin, it promotes your own collagen to grow and regenerate tissue, naturally smoothing and tightening skin, softening wrinkles, and improving skin texture and tone. We strategically mix our concentrations, and plan the depths and placements for a safe and effective outcome. Traditional fillers do not occur naturally in our bodies. Some can even be rejected, especially with long term usage.

Fillers are instant, and therefore obvious, leaving many looking ‘filled’ and overdone. Plasmasculpt® works over time with the body’s natural process. So unlike traditional fillers, there are no obvious lines where PlasmaSculpt® treatments are placed.

What to expect before your procedure?

The consult is crucial to ensure your aesthetic goals can be addressed safely. During this time, we will assess and review your medical history.  The treatment, expectations, and aftercare of the procedure will also be discussed. If our assessment determines that you’re an excellent candidate for PlasmaSculpt®, a unique treatment plan will be created just for you!

What to expect during your treatment?

The procedure is generally pain-free!  Most people report little to no discomfort at all. Your comfort is our priority, and topical anesthesia can be applied if desired. The PlasmaSculpt® treatment uses a combination of fine needles and MicroCannula injections to ensure adequate placement of product and less risk for bruising.

What to expect after your treatment?

The results produced are yours to keep, and touch ups are typically done every 2 years depending on one’s lifestyle and natural aging process. Additional PlasmaSculpt® packages can be added for further results. Some patients may experience swelling, bruising, or pain at the injection sites that typically subside within a few days.

What results can you expect from the PlasmaSculpt® Facial Rejuvenation treatment?

Most important is the mixing concentrations, depths and strategic placement for a safe and effective outcome. The visible effects may begin subtly as early as 2 weeks but more reliably at 2 months. Then, over the subsequent 3-6 months, final results are obtained. Many people may be happy with just one session but three treatment sessions are generally recommended, spaced 1-2 months apart, to achieve the best outcome.

How long will your results last?

Every patient is unique and results can typically last anywhere between 2-7 years. The longevity of your results depends on the quality of the existing skin, tissue laxity and surrounding bone loss. Traditional fillers typically last three to six months.

How long does the treatment last?

During your treatment, most of the time is taken to further educate you on the PlasmaSculpt® procedure and how to achieve your desired results. Our PlasmaSculpt treatment can last anywhere between 60-90 minutes from start to finish.

Is there downtime after the treatment?

After your PlasmaSculpt® Facial Rejuvenation treatment, some patients may experience swelling, bruising, or pain at the treatment site that may subside within a few days to a week.
