How Does Xeomin Work
Xeomin is an injectable treatment that works similarly to Botox and Dysport – they are all designed to relax target muscles to smooth out wrinkles, lines, and creases caused by aging. These treatments share the same active ingredient, botulinum toxin A – the difference with Xeomin is that there are no crowding proteins around the active ingredient (less resistance), which allows a gentle onset and better stability.
Is Xeomin Right for Me?
Xeomin is a proven treatment that brings satisfaction and success to patients seeking long lasting, smoothed, and lifted skin. Xeomin is an excellent choice for both men and women of any skin type concerned with deep wrinkles, forehead creases, frown lines, neck bands, and other signs of aging on the face and neck. Treatment is recommended once you see early signs of stubborn aging for most effective results.
What to Expect Before Your Treatment
With all treatments offered by Style Aesthetics, you will begin with a consultation. When you meet with us at our practice, we will create a safe and proper treatment plan for you while we learn about who you are and what your goals consist of. This will help us decide what treatments are best for you. We will of course explain the procedure and what to expect based on your individualized treatment plan.
During Your Treatment?
Appointments are relatively short, as the actual injections take only a few minutes to complete. Do not worry, the injections are generally painless – just minor pokes.
After Your Treatment?
You can expect your wrinkles to lighten up with Xeomin in as early as 3 to 4 days. Xeomin is researched to be the most stable form of botulinum toxin A to have a gentle, forgiving release into your targeted muscles. Your true results can take up to 2 weeks to settle in. Minor redness or small bumps may occur at the site of injections but should quickly resolve. With all our neuromodulators, patients should avoid exercising for at least 6 hours following treatment, and should remain vertical for 2 to 4 hours. This will allow the product to settle in properly. We also recommend not massaging the treated area.
What Results Can I Expect from Treatment at Style Aesthetics?
Xeomin will reduce wrinkles and creases right at the site of injection. You can expect a smooth and successful resolution of fine lines and targeted wrinkles quickly – Xeomin is proven to work faster and have greater stability than Botox, which allows it to last longer before needing a touch up. Many clients find that with repeated use, results begin to last even longer.
What are the Benefits of Xeomin Injections from Style Aesthetics?
The most significant benefit of Xeomin is the youth, vitality, and confidence it grants by reducing wrinkles, easing your deep creases, and erasing fine lines. At Style Aesthetics, all of our staff is highly qualified under the guidance of Dr. Rajani himself to assure you utmost safety and confidence in your procedure. We offer individualized treatments to fit your goals, budget, and lifestyle, and we will work with you to give you results you will love.
How Long is the Procedure Itself?
A treatment session is typically 30 minutes from start to finish. Actual neuromodulator injections only take a few minutes, and you can resume your day as normal right after.
What are the Possible Side Effects of Xeomin Injections?
Xeomin treatments are FDA approved and are considered both safe and effective. Side effects can include minor pain/swelling/bruising at the injection site. You may have heard of brow drooping complications from Botox; however, because the chemical structure of Xeomin is more stable than typical Botox, there is even less of a chance that this would occur. Any other risks based on the individual would be discussed and evaluated during your consultation.
Why Should I Choose Xeomin Over Botox?
Botox and Xeomin are relatively similar – they have the same exact active ingredient and are used for the same treatment purposes. However, Xeomin is the less resistant form of Botox. Xeomin consists of isolated botulinum toxin A, while Botox is this active ingredient with additional proteins attached to it. The stability factor of Xeomin allows treatments to last 3-6 months, while Botox typically lasts 3-4 months. This stability factor also allows for Xeomin to have a slow and gentle release of toxins to the treatment area that give clients a forgiving onset, and helps prevent any possible brow drooping.
Can I Use Xeomin and Botox Together?
Yes, you can use Xeomin and Botox together.
How Much Does Xeomin Cost?
There are several factors that determine the cost of your injections. Xeomin is priced by the amount of units used for treatments. Depending on your skin, your goals, and your budget, it will vary with the number of units you will use.
