COLLAGEN STIMULATION · PEARL DISTRICT, PORTLAND
collagen-building treatment: Restore your natural collagen
Style Aesthetics specializes in precision collagen stimulation, is one of our most powerful tools in delivering non-surgical facial rejuvenation that lasts. Unlike traditional fillers that offer short-term volume, this works with your body to gradually stimulate collagen production, restoring volume, structure, and skin quality for long-lasting, natural-looking results.
It’s an injectable treatment made of microparticals that your body gradually absorbs, while your skin responds by producing its own collagen.
Rather than filling lines directly, it rebuilds your skin’s support structure over time, reducing facial volume loss, softening wrinkles, and creating natural lift and firmness.

WHY STYLE
Our providers are selected by Galderma as national trainers in the Galderma Aesthetic Injector Network. When licensed injectors from other practices want to learn collagen-stimulating technique, they come to Style Aesthetics.
Results from collagen-building treatment depend on three things: how the product is prepared, how and where it’s injected, and how your series of treatments is planned. Those are skills we teach other injectors, and they’re what you get when you book with us.
The injectors other injectors learn from.
Reconstitution and dilution
Volume, hydration time, and dilution ratio change how the product spreads and settles. It's the first thing taught and the most common source of an uneven result.
Facial mapping and plane
Temples, lateral cheek, jawline, and the pre-jowl hollow each behave differently. Placement is planned against your anatomy, not a generic template.
Series planning
How many vials, how they’re divided across sessions, and how far apart, dosed to what your face has actually lost.
WHAT IT IS
A collagen stimulator, not a filler.
Collagen-building treatment uses microparticles that your body gradually absorbs while your skin responds by producing its own collagen. It's used to soften smiles lines, fine lines and wrinkles in the cheeks, and to restore volume lost over time.
2-3
Sessions in a typical series, spaced at least three to four weeks apart.
~ 1 mo
When study participants began observing improvement, with the change building from there.
2 yrs
How long results were sustained after the final treatment in clinical study.
THE ARC OF TREATMENT
Build on purpose, over months.
Collagen-building treatment works gradually, so it isn’t the right choice before an event next weekend. It’s ideal if you’re planning ahead for how you want to look in the months to come. Here’s what to expect.
VISIT ONE
Consultation and mapping
We assess volume loss, skin quality and history, then decide whether this treatment is the right tool at all - sometimes it isn’t.
SESSION 1
First treatment
Product is reconstituted, placed to plan, and massaged out. Expect some swelling and tenderness the same day.
+3-4 WEEKS
Session 2
We reassess in person before adding anything. Dosing for the second session is based on how you responded to the first.
MONTHS 2-6
Collagen builds
The visible change accrues quietly during this window rather than arriving on treatment day.
THEN
Maintenance
Results were sustained up to two years after the final session in study. We plan touch-ups against your own timeline.
OFTEN A GOOD FIT
Flattening through mid-face, temples or lateral cheek
Skin that reads thin or crepey rather than simply lined

You’ve had filler and want structure rather than more volume
You’re willing to commit to a series across several months
NOT A CANDIDATE
You need visible change within the next few weeks
History of keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring
Allergy to any component of the product

WHAT OUR PATIENTS ASK
collagen-building treatment FAQS
-
It works gradually. Most patients notice real change about two months after their first session and see the full result three to six months after their final session. The fullness you see on treatment day is fluid and swelling, and it fades within a week or two. That's normal. Your own collagen is what builds the lasting result, and in clinical studies results held for up to two years.
-
Most patients need two to three sessions, spaced at least three to four weeks apart. The number of vials depends on how much structural volume you've lost, not on a standard package. We map your face at your consultation and give you the full plan, including the vial count, before anything is mixed.
-
At Style Aesthetics, it’s $1,000 per vial. Most patients spend $2,000 to $4,000 on a full series. Consultations are free, financing is available through Cherry and CareCredit, and members save 10 to 15 percent on injectables. New patients also receive $100 off their first collagen-building treatment.
-
No. It is a collagen stimulator. Hyaluronic acid fillers add volume right away. Collagen-building treatment prompts your skin to build its own collagen over several months. The result is gradual, natural-looking structure and firmer skin rather than instant volume. Many patients use both.
-
Most patients find it very tolerable. A numbing agent is mixed in before it's injected. There's little to no downtime. Expect some swelling and tenderness the same day, and possible bruising for a few days. You'll go home with a simple massage routine that helps the product spread evenly.
-
That's expected. The early fullness comes from the fluid the treatment is mixed with, plus normal swelling, and it fades within a few days to a week. Collagen takes longer to build, and visible change usually starts around month two. If you've had collagen-building treatments elsewhere and aren't sure it's working, we're happy to take a look.
-
Yes, and it often works best that way. Collagen-building treatment rebuilds structure and skin quality. Filler can add precise volume in specific areas, and wrinkle relaxers softens lines caused by movement. We plan the order and timing at your consultation so each treatment supports the others.
-
With this treatment, results depend heavily on technique: how the product is mixed and diluted, how deep it's placed, and how the series is paced. Our injectors are national trainers in the Galderma Aesthetic Injector Network (GAIN).

Bring your questions and, if you have them, photos of yourself from five or ten years ago. It's the fastest way for us to see what's actually changed.
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT
Collagen-building treatment isn’t right for everyone. It isn’t recommended if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, under 18, allergic to any of its ingredients, or have a history of keloids or raised scarring. The most common side effects are temporary swelling, tenderness, redness, bruising and small lumps at the injection sites. Your provider will review your health history and talk through the risks and benefits with you at your consultation. Individual results vary.
