Style Aesthetics Brings the Darwin Multi-Technology Platform to Portland's Pearl District
First Portland medical spa to offer the six-technology system, expanding laser, light, ultrasound and radiofrequency options for patients across all skin types.
PORTLAND, Ore. — Style Aesthetics, the medical aesthetics practice at NW 10th and Northrup in Portland's Pearl District, has added the Darwin platform by LUVO to its clinic, becoming the first practice in Portland to offer the six-technology system. Treatments on the platform are available now.
Most aesthetic practices own a single energy device and fit every patient to it. Darwin consolidates six distinct technologies into one platform: an 808nm diode laser for hair removal, intense pulsed light with seven filters, radiofrequency microneedling, high-intensity focused ultrasound, thermal radiofrequency, and fractional radiofrequency resurfacing. Each addresses a different concern at a different depth, and each can be sequenced with the others inside a single treatment plan.

The practice points to skin tone as the clearest example. Light-based treatments such as IPL work by targeting pigment, which limits their use on deeper skin tones. Radiofrequency and ultrasound technologies heat tissue rather than targeting color, making them appropriate across a wider range of patients. Having both categories under one roof allows providers to offer an alternative rather than turn a patient away.

The addition follows the practice's move in August 2026 into a newly renovated 3,400-square-foot space at the southeast corner of NW 10th and Northrup, with five private exam rooms and floor-to-ceiling windows with privacy glass. A wellness build-out is planned for the west wing in early 2027.
All treatments are performed by licensed medical providers following a skin assessment and health history review. Style Aesthetics' providers serve as national GAIN trainers for Galderma, teaching facial anatomy and injection technique to other licensed injectors in Oregon and throughout the country.
